COL Frederick Swope

COL Frederick Swope is a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Army and is the original visionary for the WOTG initiative. During his Army career, he commanded at every level, from the company level to the Army’s third largest populated installation. COL Swope holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Florida State University and master’s degrees from Troy State University and the U.S Army War College. He also is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College, the Infantry Officer Basic/Advanced Courses, the Combined Arms Staff Service School, and the Ranger, Airborne, Air Assault, and Jumpmaster courses. COL Swope culminated his Army career as the Deputy Region Director, Installation Management Command, Atlantic Region, and as the Garrison/Installation Commander of Fort Campbell, KY.
